These guys are tearing it up. I had a yard overrun with bamboo and Chuck and his guys are making that problem go away.

RE: Bamboo > Save yourself money, time, and frustration by calling Columbia Tree & Lawn Service to get rid of bamboo. Bamboo took over my neighbors backyard here in Bowie MD and it started coming into my yard. So I went online and had 8 or 9 vendors recommended by well-known internet websites call/email within a day or so. I had most of them come by. They talked a good game, their prices were suspiciously low, and not one of them had a plan to deal with the bamboo roots (called rhizomes). These roots can be 2 feet down and reach out 15 feet or more from the nearest stalk of bamboo (miss 1 root and it all grows back). So I gave up on the internet referrals and hired Chuck at CT&LS. His references checked out and he was the only guy who had actual working knowledge of bamboo. The really nice thing was that when the work was underway I wandered outside to look and Chuck took time to explain exactly what he was doing and how he was ferreting out the bamboo roots with his big digging machine. Only then did it dawn on me that if I hired one of the internet referrals I would have spent THOUSANDS and made the bamboo problem WORSE. I’m so overjoyed with the results that I told Chuck to have any customer who is on the fence about hiring him or who thinks his price is too high to contact me so I can invite them to look at my backyard and then across the fence at the bamboo still growing in my neighbor’s yard (they got a “lower price” from some other company).

I've made numerous attempts to entice tree service providers to come out and remove some major limbs and two smaller trees. 1 kept ghosting me, and 2 never replied. Columbia Tree arrived the same day I called with a price, and they finished the job the following day!
